Left you a message on your phone this morning actually!

Very good excuse for him to get out of the washing up isn't it?! Though I nearly joined him after falling face first off Silverado the other day - almost have 2 black eyes and a very bruised foot and knee....

Still can't get out of the washing up or digging though Wink

I think he was punch drunk on spring grass! Treated my like I was an alien from the time he set eyes on me that morning, and behaved as if he was a totally wild horse that was never handled. Up until that day he'd been quieter and slower than a snail being ridden, but that morning I got my left foot in the stirrup and my right leg 3/4 of the way over his back, and the rest is history!

The kids had a lovely time at the swap on Saturday, and I especially enjoyed the Welsh Cakes which were a new treat for me!

I was happy to bring home two new species of houseplants, one of which I cannot find a name for, but which I'm sure will survive my neglectful nature since it appears to be some kind of succulent.  The other is locally known as a Swedish Ivy (Though it is neither Swedish in origin nor is it an ivy!) or Plectranthus.  It must be a male plant since my houseplant bible says it must be pinched back "ruthlessly" else it straggles!

We had a lovely time, and hope to meet even more green-minded people next time.
