Gardening Geeks Only

Is anyone else out there rushing Spring?
I can't help it, with this lovely +10 sunshine I have earthen hotspots thawing out all over the yard and as quickly as they appear I feel the need to throw seed at them! Garlic, peas, and spinache are by the house, and I'm thinking about some turnips. I've got some starts in the house too: Lupine, Milkweed, Poppies, and Sunflowers and dreams of Sweet Pea, Morning Glory, Pansy and Marigold.
With baited breath I'm watching the last foot of frost receeding over the Asparagus and Strawberries, and this morning saw the first tender shoots of Daylily peeking from the earth amidst the Sedum. Ah Spring; the Venus of Seasons!

Well, I'm certainly a garden geek, but since my yard is about as big as a handerchief, I have to content myself with my small flower garden....Crocuses and daffs are sprouting, tulips were up last week and froze again, starting herbs inside, and will get morning glories going, and maybe nasturtiums too.
My sweet peas are perennial, which is nice, but they have bred all that sweet smell out of them!
Happy Spring (and St. Patricks Day) and Great gardening to you all!!!
